How to Wash & Care for Your atta™ Towel (and Keep It Fresh)
Your towel works just as hard as you do—and with the right care, it’ll stay grippy, clean, and fresh through every class, retreat, or at-home session. Here’s our guide to keeping The Towel in great condition.
How Often Should I Wash It?
If you're practicing in hot or sweaty conditions (like vinyasa or hot yoga), we recommend washing after every 1–2 uses. For lighter or slower practices, you can wash every 3–4 uses.
Washing Instructions
- Machine wash cold
- Use a gentle cycle
- Skip the fabric softener—it breaks down grip
- Wash with like colors
-
Use a laundry bag to reduce wear over time
Drying Tips
- Best method: Air dry. The Towel dries fast and this helps preserve its shape and performance.
-
Machine method: Tumble dry low if you’re in a pinch—just avoid high heat.
Between Classes: Freshen Up Fast
Spritz your towel with a light yoga mat spray (we love lavender and tea tree oil) and let it dry fully before rolling or folding. This helps prevent odor and keeps the towel feeling fresh between washes.
A little care goes a long way. Your towel will stay soft, grippy, and ready to support your flow—no matter where your practice takes you.
